The quirky, contemporary-country style of the pub gave it a smart yet relaxed atmosphere that we absolutely loved. The hotel level of service exceeded our expectations, with thoughtful touches like complimentary afternoon tea and free access to the Langdale Hotel's leisure facilities. the range of local walks available for guests to borrow, as well as the drying room for wet clothes and boots, made exploring the stunning surroundings a breeze. One of the highlights of our stay was the exquisite dining experience at the inn. the short-choice menu featured dishes like treacle-glazed beef shin and hake with pickled samphire that were both delicious and beautifully presented. the open kitchen allowed us to watch the talented kitchen brigade in action, adding to the overall experience. Our double room was cozy and comfortable, with a private entrance, mountain views from the terrace, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Overall, our time at the Drunken Duck Inn was nothing short of magical. the picturesque location, top-notch service, and delicious food made it a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return and explore more of what this charming inn has to offer.
